About Us

Central State Credit Union was established in 1936, providing low-cost financial services to state employees in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Amador, Solano, Alpine, Merced and Mariposa counties. Today, we are a Community credit union. If you live, work or worship in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Amador or Calaveras Counties you can become a member of CSCU.

Compliance Review Specialist

Perform various internal compliance reviews of loans, share accounts, file maintenance transactions, overrides, address changes, BSA compliance, dormant accounts, plastic card maintenance, wire transactions and any other internal monetary or maintenance transactions. Review supporting documents in scanning system, sends requests via email for corrections or missing supporting documentations and other duties assigned.



AVP (Assistant VP) of Lending

AVP Centralized Lending Manager - Provides leadership, management, coaching and training for the Lending department. Proactively identifies and executes strategic opportunities to increase the credit union's relationship with members, potential members within our community. Works to build strong connections with current dealerships and works aggressively to promote additional dealer relationships to exceed the credit union's goals. 3-5 years' experience preferred.



Centralized Lending Loan Officer

Summary - Examines and evaluates loan applications approved through Credit Union Direct Lending program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The successful candidate will perform diversified activities to review and approve/deny loan applications based upon current lending policy and procedures. Interviews applicants and requests documentation from applicants to ensure applications and files are complete according to existing credit union guidelines policies and procedures. Analyze applicants financial status, credit report, and collateral to determine feasibility of granting loan. Corresponds with or interviews members to resolve questions regarding application information. Approves loan within specified limits.

Other duties may be assigned for the efficient operation of the Credit Union.

Competencies - To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the ability to collect and analyze data; Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions. Follow and respond to direction.

Qualifications - Candidate should be detail oriented, possess good math, grammatical and analytical skills. Has the ability to speak clearly and professionally. Is self-motivated and flexible; has the ability to respond appropriately to varied and sometimes simultaneous duties. The employee may be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Education and/or Experience - Three to six months related experience or training.
