Your credit union is excited to introduce you to our new President and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Waite. He brings a tremendous career worth of experience in financial services to lead the Central State Credit Union team. A highly regarded professional in the financial services industry, Mr. Waite served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Patelco Credit Union for over 20 years and Chief Executive Officer of Patelcorp, Inc., the credit union’s investment and insurance subsidiary. During this time Patelco grew to become one of the largest and most successful credit unions in the country.

Scott is a lifelong financial service professional. He started his career early, spending ten years with First Interstate Bank where he rose from the position of Teller to become the youngest Vice President in their history and their Planning and Control Officer at age 25. Throughout a remarkable career of success and accomplishment, he has held numerous leadership positions at the national level, received coveted industry awards and recognition, and been a featured speaker at numerous conferences, and in interviews and publications.

He believes in the true purpose and cooperative mission of credit unions and truly embraces the “People Helping People” philosophy. He has reemerged from early retirement to build a strong local credit union partner for our community. Together with the CSCU team, Scott looks forward to contributing his innovation and expertise in leading our credit union towards providing even more products and services to improve the financial wellness of our members.
