Joining CSCU is Easy
The total amount required to open a CSCU savings account is $5. Identification is required for everyone who opens an account. Please bring in one or more of the following:
- A valid state driver's license or identification card
- A valid military identification card
- And/or a current passport
We will also need the following information:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Social Security number
- Current mailing and physical address
- Phone numbers for home and work, with area codes
- Mother's maiden name
- Beneficiary information
Procedures For Opening An Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What does this means to you? When you open a CSCU account, we are required to ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you.
We may also ask to see your driver's license and other identifying documents.
Family Membership
If you have relatives that would like to share the benefits of credit union membership, let them know they are eligible to join CSCU today. They can visit any CSCU branch office to complete a membership application. At CSCU we're just one big happy family, and we welcome yours.
